BRICKS SINCE DEDICATION

This page was last updated on 19 January 2016.

These PEOPLE ARE ALREADY HONORED WITH A STONE PAVER/BRICK PURCHASED IN THEIR NAMES:

The names on paver/bricks are now listed in alphabetical order! Next to each name is the location of the paver/brick on the field of paver/bricks at the memorial site. Our code is simple:

bullet

L is for the left side of the field of paver/bricks as you face the memorial.

bullet

R is for the right side of the field of paver/bricks as you face the memorial.

bullet

The first number is the row in which the paver/brick can be found--simply count with Row 1 being at the base of the memorial itself and Row 44 being the first set of paver/bricks where the walkway enters the field of gray paver/bricks. This was made a bit easier as the engraver placed numbers opposite every 5th row of pavers.

bullet

The second number is the paver/brick number as you count in from either the left or right side towards the center of the field. We have done our best to keep family members, groups of friends or organizations together as they wanted to be much as possible regardless of what their last names are.

Due to the amazing amount of paver/bricks already ordered we have split the list into three sections. Just click on the links below according to the first letter of the last name of the person you are looking for:

A - H            I - P            Q - Z

Any orders received after 5 October 2009 were held over the winter but were engraved in time for the Memorial Day service! Those orders can now be seen at BRICKS SINCE DEDICATION so you know your order was received--at least up to 20 November 2009! For any orders received after that date--it will take me a little longer to locate the bricks in the field of bricks as there are over 3000 there to look at.

Some people have asked what the various abbreviations on the lists and bricks stand for so I decided to provide some info about them for you. People served in various branches at different times in history and sometimes family members didn't know the exact abbreviation to use so I've done my best to decipher what they placed on their bricks:
